In my Scan the Fam(ily) Project, the day was spent scanning, scanning, scanning. I scanned and cataloged about 100 images and realized just how long it’s really going to take. Sheesh!
I have many favorites so far, but this is definitely one of them.
For this we go back to somewhere between 1947 and 1949 in downtown Dallas, my uncle is the little guy on the truck sitting in the lap of his daddy. One of the reasons that it’s a favorite is because of the detail you can see in the city street. Not to mention all the signs on the truck.
Obviously it was Fire Prevention Week with the big sign telling everyone to…
