The Oldest So Far

Continuing with the San the Fam(ily) Project, I came across one image that I recognized immediately. I know who the subject is in the image despite no markings. I can tell by the mouth of this baby that it is my Nana – my great-grandmother on my mother’s side. To confirm, I researched the photography studio listed and all the images that came up were dated in the late 1800’s

So far, this is the oldest image I’ve come across.
