This is the first day our new residence has felt like more than just a house. It is now a home! What has made it that way? Not the furniture we’ve purchased or even the wall art and decorations we’ve put in place. No, it’s the personal family photos that came out of storage and were placed around. And even though we have empty spaces waiting to be filled with furniture, our house now feels like home.
After dinner tonight, we took advantage of one of the benefits of our new home. We took a walk down to our community pool. On one side is OUR pool that sits next to OUR playground, and the other is OUR pond that OUR birds frequent.
