While doing some house cleaning on my blog site as well as photo gallery, I ran across this image.
This photo was taken in Valentine, Texas in July of 2013 while on a family vacation. If you’ve been to Valentine lately, you know there isn’t much there. Besides the post office, a couple of churches, a few homes and the nearby Prada Marfa, the rest is made up of old, abandoned houses and farm land.
This is one of the abandoned farms we ran across.
What I see is beauty for ashes!

That bright blue sky and puffy clouds make me want to find a patch of soft green grass and stare at the shapes in the clouds.
