Yeehaw! Cowtown After Christmas: It All Comes Down

Fort Worth – what a wonderful place!

In the last few years, we’ve seen many (major) improvements to the city blocks of where I’ve called “home” since moving here when I was in first grade.

Many changes! Major changes! Definitely improvements!

Several old buildings have been restored and just this past year, we’ve seen the completion of the Sundance Square Plaza.

Sweet Hubby and I had hoped to make it downtown before Christmas to see the new location of the annual Christmas tree. From the photos I’d seen from a Facebook friend, Brian Luenser, who created a magnificent time-lapse video of it being built, the entire plaza looked fabulous.

Well, we didn’t make it. Not before, anyway.

Last weekend after dropping Son off at the train station so he could return to Chicago, we decided to walk around. We made it just in time to see a few of the decorations still up and quite a few coming down.

In Cowtown, after Christmas, it must ALL come down!
