Prayers Please for my Jakey-D

Tomorrow is the day. The day Jakey has double-surgery on his right eye. If you haven’t read about what happened to my eight-year-old nephew, you can read about it here.

Please keep him in your prayers. The little fella has a road ahead of him, but we are standing and trusting God with his healing and that He will get the glory out of this situation.

  • Pray for the specialists/surgeons, nurses and anyone caring for him to be directed by the Holy Spirit.
  • Pray the surgery is a success and agree with us for a miracle. (God is in the miracle business, you know!)
  • Pray the pain is minimal.
  • Pray for a supernatural quick recovery.
  • Pray for his mommy and daddy to have peace.
  • Pray for his sister and brothers to be considerate of all that is going on and pray they have peace as well.

Thank you for prayers for my Jakey-D. They are truly appreciated!

This is a picture of the silly little guy from his birthday last spring. What a silly guy, whom I love very much!

  1. Debbi, This is from “Hope For The Broken-Hearted” on Facebook …

Feeling led to pray for all of you who are ill or have loved ones who are battling illness..

Dear Lord, we come before you and lift up all those who are battling infirmity, diseases or disorders today. We ask in Jesus’ name, that you would please put your healing hand upon them. Like the woman who reached out to touch the hem of your garment and was healed, we ask for that kind of faith for all that are reading this and need a touch from you.

We pray Lord, for your healing touch physically, emotionally & spiritually. We ask for your strength, peace and comfort to be upon them. If people are discouraged, we pray that you would send someone to brighten their day and lift them up so they know they are not alone. We pray that you would alleviate pain…that you would give hope where there seems to be none.

We pray for the caregivers that you would ease their burdens and help them to remember that when we are weak, you are strong in us. Lord, it’s so hard to watch those we love suffer and we long for our loved ones to be free from pain and all the horrible diseases, disorders and injuries that occur in this life. Help us all to remember that you love those dear to our hearts even more than we do and you are collecting our tears, you are feeling our pain and you are also looking forward to the day when we will all be set permanently free from the things that afflict us as a result of living in this fallen world.

For those that are waiting for answers…I pray they would lean into you and find that peace that passes all understanding and help them to keep their eyes fixed on you so they are not dwelling on the “unknowns” and “what ifs”. Lord, we ask for your anointing and favor to be upon each and everyone reading this and we thank you in advance for what you will do. Please meet every need and we thank you Lord that all things are possible through you and because of you. Help our faith Lord and thank you for these trials that give us an opportunity to learn to trust and rely on you more. In Jesus name we pray. Amen

God bless you, Jakey, and his family. Love, Dianne
