On our last day in Hawaii on our recent trip, seeing our flight did not leave until 8pm, we wanted to make the most of the day. We went with our friends to snorkel in Hanauma Bay. After a couple of hours, we headed on a short drive. I was on the hunt for a lighthouse that Lisa had seen a few days prior as they were cruising the highway.
As we neared Makapu’u Beach Park, we spotted the lighthouse on the tip of the coast. And appropriately, it is named Makapu’u Point Lighthouse. We pulled over on the side of the road so I could snap a few shots before we headed to a local diner for lunch.
As I stood there on the shoulder of the road, I was amazed at the views, both
…to the right
…and to the left.
