Turtle Beach

My first full day in Hawaii, I was invited to ride along as my Foodie Friend, Lisa, and her hubby took a drive around the coast to the North Shore. (I mention Lisa being my Foodie Friend to prepare you for a few other upcoming posts where I will share some of the delicious finds she discovered.)

One of the stops on our trek was Turtle Beach on the North Shore. We had heard about the endangered sea turtles and stopped along the roadside to see if we could spot them. And we couldn’t. All we could see were rocks. That is until we noticed a crowd surrounding the rocks. We then realized these weren’t rocks after all.
