When I found out that we were going to have the opportunity to visit England and Paris, I asked Son what I could bring him back as a souvenir. All that he asked was if I had time while in Paris, please go to Shakespeare and Company. He said he would take anything from there.
You see, Son is a brainiac and a bookworm. He has a huge library and reads all the time. So, it made sense that all he cared about on the other side of the pond would be this ancient and famous bookstore.
While on our escorted tour of the city, we had about an hour and a half of free time. Two things were on our list – go see Notre Dame and visit Shakespeare and Company. It was fast-paced and required a quick taxi ride to and from, but we did it. And with about five minutes to spare. We raced, but we did it!
