School Days of Yesteryear – Murr, Part 2

Today’s post of the old schoolhouse trail consist of a few more photos of the old Murr schoolhouse. 

In this shot you can see the gravel and dirt road we took to find this beauty. As I said yesterday, it’s truly in the middle of nowhere. A very rural and beautiful area of southern Missouri.

Here are a couple of the features of the old structure. Windows have such character, don’t you think?

Just think of all the days this old thermometer told the temperature.

Tomorrow we will discover the interesting Alice Schoolhouse.

  1. Beautiful colors.. I just have to ask; is the first one HDR? If not, very well done!!
    A great capture of the colors. It kind of make a good mood/atmosphere.
