School Days of Yesteryear – Lawson, Part 2

Here are a couple more shots of the old Lawson Schoolhouse in rural Missouri. 

You can see from the photos how the old building has succumbed to weather and wear and tear of the elements. Also notice how she is not ready to give  up just yet, and still stands – at least partially.

This photo shows how the old tree, that has grown up beside this structure of history, is supporting and not ready to let it go all the way to the ground.

One more view of the old building. I’m curious what will remain when I visit again in the future.
